NorthFin’s Cichlid Flake is new by NorthFin. It is the flake version of our very popular Cichlid Formula. It is specifically made to naturally enhance your fishes’ well-being and colors. Without the use of unnecessary color additives or fillers, your cichlids can easily digest and absorb more nutrients. This allows your fish to obtain their full-colour spectrum. Having healthy cichlids means plenty of bright aquatic action in your tank.

I have been using Northfin pellets for a few years with great results. The flake has a strong fresh aroma but my african cichlids are not excited to have it. I feed a combination pellet and flake and I have seen the fish approach a sinking flake and turn away. I just saw 3 fish approach a half inch flake in the water column and not lunge for it. Very strange. The fish eventually eat it when all pellets are gone. Strange for african cichlids.
These flakes are awesome! Fish love them and they are much better than any other brand Cichlid flakes on the market. Flakes are huge in size and come in a nice reusable container. You can’t beat the price for how much flake you get. I just have 2 minor things that I dislike. 1.) The flakes are very thin, which sink really fast. 2.) These seem to be clouding the water more than I’ve experienced with other flakes, even with all of the filter media.
Overall, I love them and the fish do too! I would definitely be purchasing again when needed.
My fish started sucking this flake down immediately and never stopped until it was gone!
Flakes are huge, fish love them, and they come in a nice container.
My fish love the new Northfin flakes. Every fish that my dad and I have fed it to, has taken a liking to it. Great to know a high quality flake is out there. #1love1vision
